Friday Feature & Giveaway with "It's a Preemie Thing"!!

As a preemie mom, Julie had a hard time finding things for her little 2lb 5oz baby...so she thought should make it easier for future preemie mom's! So "It's a Preemie Thing" was Launched Labor Day 2010! And their items are sooooooo cute!! They even have products for the proud preemie parents and a special line just for all you photographers, sizes go all the way up to 5T!

My husband and I met a little later in life, after realizing our dream of being married in a castle in Scotland we immediately began trying to expand our family beyond our two furry children, retired racing greyhounds named Holly and Nova.

Fast forward a few years and several rounds of IVF later we were ecstatic to find out that it had finally worked and we were pregnant! We found out we were having a little boy… and we would just have to be patient until he arrived. Our son Spencer had other plans. He arrived the day I turned 29 weeks, the day after Thanksgiving, so we call him our Black Friday deal of the century! The morning after his birth, he weighed in at a whopping 2lbs 5oz and was just over 14” long. By far the smallest baby I had ever seen. We spent the next 64 days in the NICU experiencing things we never thought we would deal with.

During this time, we could not find clothing small enough to fit Spencer, we thought that we couldn’t be alone in this quest. I kept catching myself and others answering questions about our babies with “It’s a preemie thing” since most parents of full term babies had different experiences. So the seed was planted and grew into our site - It's a Preemie Thing.

What is available in the photography line:

• White onesies or white infant t-shirts with vinyl lettering on the front and back in Raspberry sparkle glitter, royal blue or dark chocolate brown.  The back will have a custom saying or graphic for your business.
• Sizes available are preemie (more limited sayings due to size), 0-3 month, 3-6 month, 6-12 month and 12-18 month if you’d like to do a variety of sayings and events.
• All of the printing is done with a high quality vinyl which is used for sports jerseys so it holds up extremely well!  Some logos/artwork may not be usable due to the limits of the vinyl cutter, but this can be determined prior to moving forward with an order.  She can definitely design something that will work for you!
